Change of name emphasises focus on core con-pearl® brand
During the course of the takeover of 100 percent of friedola TECH GmbH by Blue Cap AG on 18 September, the company was renamed. Under the new name con-pearl GmbH, the core competence of the traditional medium-sized company in the field of con-pearl® lighweight boards will be expanded in the future. “The change of name is the logical consequence of our strategy of a stronger focus on the core con-pearl® brand, which we have adopted in recent years” explains Dr. Matthias Stein, CEO of con-pearl GmbH. Besides Dr. Stein, Blue Cap board members Dr. Hannspeter Schubert and Stefan Hoedt are part of the new management.
Since 2016, the company has focused on the core business of recyclable and weight-saving plastic products, primarily for the automotive, packaging and logistics industries. Together with Blue Cap, the reorientation will now be consistently continued: “Blue Cap is the right partner to successfully continue the Group’s reorientation towards innovative con-pearl® solutions for automotive and packaging applications, and to support further growth in the US as well,” emphasises Dr. Stein.
